En estos días estoy sometida al silencio y a la contemplación profunda de la vida a mi alrededor. Fluyendo hacia la puesta del sol y sintiendo cómo mi esencia se balancea en movimientos suaves, como las mareas entrantes llamando a la puesta del sol hacia las profundidades debajo de sus aguas---que es el atractivo de cada princesa isleña bailarina del hula: para tentar, seducir y atraer admiradores hacia sus costas marinas con manos gráciles y caderas ondulantes...
Y me doy cuenta entonces que, no solo vivo en Hawai, sino que estas islas paradisíacas tambien me han transformado y hecho en la suma del aloha de todas sus princesas isleñas, bailandole al mundo mi suave hula seductivo de las palabras y las imagenes.
Y como esas princesas bailarinas, sonrio dulcemente picara ante esta verdad recien conjurada de mi misma. Me gusta, oh, si, me gusto...

These days I am submitted into silence and deep contemplation of life around me. Flowing into the sunset and feeling how my essence sways in gentle motions, like the incoming tides beckoning to the sunset deep beneath her waters---that is the lure of every island hula dancer princess: to tease, entice and draw admirers to her marine shores with graceful hands and swaying hips...
And then I realize that, not only I live in Hawaii, but these tropical islands have also transformed and made me into the sum of all the aloha of its island princesses, dancing my soft seductive hula of words and images to the world.
And as these dancing princesses, I smile sweetly mischievous to this recently conjured truth of myself. I like that, oh yes, I like myself...
